Learn to Knit Top Down Socks on Magic Loop

Dates: Thursday, May 15th, 22nd and 29th - 6:30 to 8:00pm
* In addition to class time, you will be required to complete knitting homework (approx. 1 hour per night) in preparation for the following weeks class.
During the 3 evenings of instruction, you will learn everything required to knit a top down, heel flap sock on magic loop.
Week 1 - The Cast On
Week 2 - The Heel Flap, Heel and Gusset
Week 3 - The Toe…and Casting on Sock #2
Skills Required; Basic knitting skills (cast on, knit, purl, decrease and picking up stitches). Experience working with fingering weight yarn and smaller size knitting needles would be an asset.
All the materials required (listed below) are included within the class fee;
Copy of the Vanilla Socks on Magic Loop Pattern
1 - 100gm ball of Opal 4 ply sock yarn in the colour of your choice
1 - ChiaoGoo 32” red lace 2.25mm circular needle.
